Informality is excited to share its upcoming feature with Melbourne based artist, Piers Greville.
Piers Greville is a contemporary artist with a studio practice in painting and field based performance.
Completing a MFA by research at University of Melbourne in 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Jon Cattapan, he graduated with first-class Honours, winning the DMG Award and David Richards Drawing Award. In 2019 he won the John Glover Award for landscape painting in Tasmania. He has held two solo exhibitions with Dominik Mersch Gallery in 2020 and 2022. In 2022 he was invited to present a major new site specific performance-based work for the European nomadic biennial, Manifesta 14 in Kosovo.
