Brian Grimwood lives and works in the UK and is a renowned figure in illustration, described by the print magazine 'As the man who changed the look of British illustration'. Brian Grimwood is mostly recognised for his loose and playful imagery, he has created his own vision for drawing and is an exceptional colourist. His work over the years has explored a diversity of mediums and later combines digital methods and painting. Grimwood's work echos jazz and British Pop, his free and expressive obsession to mark making has allowed him to create unrestricted works of art. 
 

Brian Grimwood held had five solo shows in London including an extensive retrospect at the Portland Gallery in 1993, he has also lectured around the world including China, Norway and Germany. Major commissions of Brian's work includes, The New York Times, Johnnie Walker, The Sunday Times.
